Homemade Peach Pie Filling

Homemade Peach Pie Filling is :

Ingredients:
1/4 cup

cornstarch

peaches

Instructions:
In a large saucepan, combine water, juice, sugar, and cornstarch. Stir over medium heat until thickened and bubbly. Once it bubbles, cook for another 2 minutes, constantly stirring.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla then the peaches. Cool to room temperature then use right away or store in the refrigerator*.

- late harvest riesling
- vin santo
Lambrusco Dolce, Late Harvest Riesling, and Vin Santo are great choices for Pie. These wines are all sweet, which is important since wine should usually be sweeter than the food you're pairing with it.
