Spicy Green Beans with Caramelized Onions is :

red pepper flakes
In 10-inch skillet, heat oil and sugar over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Add onion; cook 10 to 15 minutes, stirring frequently, until tender and light golden brown.
Remove onion from skillet.
To same skillet, add remaining ingredients. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, stirring constantly, until beans are crisp-tender. Stir in onion; cook until thoroughly heated.
