Ingredients:

cooked basmati rice
1/2 tsp

ground ginger
300 g

mixed vegetables
2 tbsp

olive oil
1

onion
2 tbsp

soy sauce

Instructions:

  1. First put the wok on the heat, then pour in the oil andbring it up to a medium-hightemperature. Now add the onionand cook, stirring only occasionally,until it starts to brown ?? this takesabout 5 minutes. Sprinkle in the5-spice powder or ginger and stirit around quickly for about 30seconds. Next tip in the vegetables and stir them around, keeping the heat quite high so the vegetables cook quickly and stay crunchy. Keep cooking and stirring for 4-5 minutes until the vegetables begin to soften.While thevegetables are cooking, make a2cm tear in the top of each ricepacket, then microwave eachpacket separately for 2 minutes onfull power. If you don??t have amicrowave, put your rice on to cookaccording to the packet instructions before you heat up the work.Splash in 2 tbsp soysauce and remove from the heat.Use more soy if you like butremember that it??s salty. If you wantmore sauce, splash in 1-2 tbspwater. Tip the rice on to plates, add the veg and eat immediately.
