  1. Dry roast spice powder ingredients except coconut on medium-low heat till it become fragrant and toasted.

  2. Remove it to a plate and let it cool completely.While its cooling, wash peppers well, remove its stems and cut into rings.Now grind the spices along with coconut into a coarse powder.

  3. Heat the oil in a pan on medium heat. Once hot add cumin seeds and let them sizzle.Then add peppers, salt and turmeric powder.

  4. Mix well.Cover it and let it cook for 4-5 minutes.Then add spice powder, mix well. Again cook for 2 minutes uncovered.Subzi or stir fry is ready to serve.
